Treats-for-Disease

Health-care professionals are treating disease because ...?

True story: Our German Sheppard was trained to retrieve his leash in preparation for going out side; midwestern winters demand wearing layers of climate appropriate clothing. Responding to ‘let’s go out’ he quickly learned to retrieve the leash and collar. We accepted the dog pending the owner finding pet-friendly housing. Sheik, his new name, was full grown, well trained and equally smart. During training sessions he was given doggy treats to encourage repeat behavior.  The treats worked exceptionally well because without prompting Sheik began retrieving the leash !!!

Treats used for good. Endless possibilities ...!

There are Tonic Herbs that prevent colds and flu, cancer … everything from ADHD to zits. Practitioners of modern medicine admittally practice medicine on  patients waiting to have a disease treated with synthetic drugs laden with side effects that require medication - which requires medication!  The lethal cycle ends with  'Death from complication(s) of insert disease here.'

1 Cure for All Caners

Apricot Seeds have the highest content of the B17 vitamin on earth; Are chewable, bitter and necessity in diet; Vitamin B17 controversy - 35 years ago; World's top scientists claimed that when consumed, components of the apricot seed make it 100% impossible to develop cancer and will kill existing cancer in most cases.  http://www.quantumbalancing.com/news/cancer.htm

World Without Cancer: The Story of Vitamin B17 by G. Edward Griffin 1950 Ernst Krebs had little idea of the hornet's nest he stir up. Unable to patent or claim exclusive rights to the vitamin pharmaceutical multinationals launched a propaganda attack of unprecedented viciousness against B17, despite the fact that hard proof of its efficiency in controlling all forms of cancer in overwhelming abundance. http://www.1awesomeb17site.com/

G Edward Griffin - Why Laetrile (Vitamin B-17) Works So ...

World Without Cancer… (Prostate Cancer) – “My doctors got pissed off when I told them about taking B-17. PSA has gone from 6.6 to 0.60 in about 8 months.” John Shoun bikeloop@thegrid.net http://crddence.org/testimon.html

The poison in apricot kernels kills only cancer cells, not healthy cells. I passed two golf ball sized black balls in my stool which had actual red blood vessels protruding from them like hairs. I have been told by health personnel that I passed 2 tumors. http://www.smashinglist.com/10-daily-life-food-items-which-have-poisonous-varities/

Bark Cures Crohn's Disease!

No, her dog didn’t bark at the disease. This woman wanted “the cure” not the treatment and went directly to the source!  This site is dedicated to Barks Herbs Roots Twigs-The Earth Pharmacy© the alternative to prescription and over-the-counter drugs.

A woman has proved that sometimes the best remedy for medical problems is nature itself. 72-year-old, Marlene Barnes from Cardiff, United Kingdom claims that she has cured herself of Crohn's disease, by consuming tree bark. The disease is thought to be incurable and Barnes began experimenting with trees approximately 16 years ago, after being told that bark may be able to help. http://www.aol.com/video/woman-diagnosed-with-crohns-disease-cures-herself-with-tree-bark/517528986/?icid=maing-grid7%7Cmain5%7Cdl10%7Csec1_lnk1%26pLid%3D230468

What is Crohn's Disease?                                                                                                                                                 Crohn’s disease causes inflammation, or swelling, and irritation of any part of the digestive tract—also called the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. The part most commonly affected is the end part of the small intestine, called the ileum.
In Crohn’s disease, inflammation extends deep into the lining of the affected part of the GI tract. Swelling can cause pain and can make the intestine empty frequently resulting in diarrhea. Chronic inflammation may produce scar tissue that builds up inside the intestine to create a stricture. A stricture is a narrowed passageway that can slow the movement of food through the intestine, causing pain or cramps. http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases/pubs/crohns/#what

Can Garlic Eliminate Moles?

Moles are caused when cells in the skin, called melanocytes, grow in clusters or clumps with tissue surrounding them. Melanocyte cells produce melanin, the natural pigment that gives your skin its color. Normally, melanocytes are distributed evenly throughout your skin. The uneven distribution of melanin causes moles. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/moles/DS00121/DSECTION=causes

Garlic can in fact get rid of moles on the skin but there is a certain way of doing it which you will want to follow in order to get the best possible results. You will need to make sure that you put a small clove of garlic on your face, using a different individual clove for each application or mole. You can also concoct a mixture of honey and garlic which will be applied directly to the areas on your skin where there are moles that you want removed.

Make sure to use 1 tablespoon of flaxseeds as well so you can enhance its ability to get rid of the moles on your skin. When you are applying this mixture to your skin, you will want to leave it on for about 15 to 20 minutes. Another important tip to follow is that you will want to dampen the moles that you are trying to remove before putting the garlic on. Massage the garlic mixture into the moles on your skin and eventually they will disappear completely. http://www.foodanswers.org/can-garlic-get-rid-of-moles/
Melanin is a hormone produced by the endocrine system and consuming garlic internally balances all body systems which may eliminate the formation of new moles.
The endocrine system is the system of glands, each of which secretes different types of hormones directly into the bloodstream to regulate the body. Hormones are substances (chemical mediators) released from endocrine tissue into the bloodstream where they travel to target tissue and generate a response. Hormones regulate various human functions, including metabolism, growth and development, tissue function, and mood. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endocrine_system

Superbug Drug-Resistant Gonorrhea

Is The Antibiotic Era Coming To An End?
Could it become the next AIDS? Gonorrhea is the newest superbug. Cara Santa Maria reporter HuffPost Science w/ author of Superbug and Beating Back The Devil, Maryn McKenna:

What is a Superbug: A superbug is any disease organism, a fungus, a virus, bacteria, that has gotten the ability to defend itself against not just one or two antibiotics but a number of antibiotics. If it’s not incurable, it’s pretty close. Bacteria and other infectious agents earn superbug status once they have developed resistance to a number of medications originally designed to wipe them out (like antibiotics). Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (commonly called MRSA) falls into that category.

[See: http://thehealthalert.blogspot.com/2011/07/uti-nitrofurantoin-super-drug.html]
The CDC, Centers for Disease Control, said ‘Look doctors just don’t use this one pill form of the drug anymore. Just stick to that one remaining injectable drug.’ What they were saying was ‘there’s just one drug left. One drug on the market that works reliably to clear the infection--an injectable drug, that’s all we’ve got.’
How bacteria develops antibiotic resistance: Bacteria produce a new generation every 20 minutes. Every time they reproduce they copy themselves, they make little copying errors. Those little copying changes make the bacteria stronger as opposed to weaker; they are better able to defend themselves against those compounds, antibiotics. And this is exactly what's happening with gonorrhea.
Pharma-companies say ‘There’s not going to be more drugs because we figured out that antibiotics aren’t really a cost-effective thing for us to make. Because we spend 10 years making the drug, we spend a billion dollars and then we bring the drug out and bacteria are resistant to it within a year.’
Would we really run out of drugs? What happens next? She said ‘No what happens after the injectable is clinical trials. We have to go back to pharma companies asking for something else.’ The antibiotic era starts in 1928 when Alexander Fleming looks at his lab dish of staph and realizes something has killed some of the staph; in that dish was the mold that makes penicillin. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/11/antibiotic-resistance-gonorrhea_n_1916862.html?icid=maing-grid7%7Cmain5%7Cdl17%7Csec1_lnk1%26pLid%3D218705

[The “magic bullet” component in garlic penetrates every cell in the body. When a virus/foreign cell is penetrated it is destroyed, remains flushed from the body. Garlic does not allow the foreign cell/virus to socialize - reproduction is not an option; there is no chance of mutation. Plus garlic fortifies the immune system preventing future onsets. To meet increasing demand Penicillin originally discovered from mold is today synthetically produced. If “they” run out of antibiotics “will they” resort to nature or continue creating/enabling super-bugs. See: http://thehealthalert.blogspot.com/2011/03/garlic-better-than-penicillin.html]

ADHD

ADHD Is: An attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a common condition that affects children and adolescents and can continue into adulthood for some.

Children with ADHD: Children with ADHD generally have problems paying attention or concentrating. They can't seem to follow directions and are easily bored or frustrated with tasks. They also tend to move constantly and are impulsive, not stopping to think before they act.

Symptoms: ADHD in children are generally grouped into three categories: Inattention: is easily distracted; does not follow directions or finish tasks; does not appear to be listening when someone is speaking; does not pay attention and makes careless mistakes; is forgetful about daily activities; has problems organizing daily tasks; avoids or dislikes activities that require sitting still or a sustained effort; often loses things, including personal items; has a tendency to daydream. Hyperactivity: often squirms, fidgets, or bounces when sitting; does not stay seated as expected; has difficulty playing quietly; is always moving, such as running or climbing on things; talks excessively. Impulsivity: has difficulty waiting for his or her turn; blurts out answers before the question has been completed; often interrupts others.

Adult Behavior: Adults with ADHD may have difficulty with time management, organizational skills, goal setting, employment, relationships, self-esteem, and addictions.

Symptoms:  Adult ADHD symptoms may be different than the symptoms in children. Additionally, they may stem directly from ADHD or may be the result of behavioral issues. Symptoms include: chronic lateness and forgetfulness; anxiety; low self-esteem; employment problems; difficulty controlling anger; impulsiveness; substance abuse or addiction; poor organization skills; procrastination; low frustration tolerance; chronic boredom; difficulty concentrating when reading; mood swings; depression;  relationship problems.

Causes of ADHD: The exact cause of ADHD is not known, although researchers continue to study the brain for clues. They suspect that there are several factors that may contribute to the condition, including: Heredity: The fact that ADHD tends to run in families suggests that children may inherit a tendency to develop ADHD from their parents. Chemical imbalance: Experts believe an imbalance of brain chemicals (neurotransmitters) that transmit nerve impulses may be a factor in the development of ADHD symptoms. Brain changes: Areas of the brain that control attention are less active in children with ADHD than in children without ADHD. Head injury: There are reports of children with head injuries, particularly with concussions, developing behavioral problems that may mimic ADHD. http://www.webmd.com/add-adhd/guide/attention-deficit-hyperactivity-disorder-adhd

Children & Adolescent Treatment: Studies have established the safety and effectiveness of using stimulant medications, other drugs, and behavioral therapy. These treatments … relieve the symptoms of ADHD and they improve the child's ability to follow rules and to improve relationships with parents and peers.
A multidisciplinary approach is most effective treatment for children and adolescents with ADHD. The components of a multidisciplinary approach to treating ADHD include: Education for both parents and child or teen about diagnosis and treatment; ADHD medication; Behavior management therapy; School teacher involvement; School counselor involvement. http://www.webmd.com/add-adhd/guide/adhd-treatment-overview

Medications: Ritalin With all ADHD medications, the goal is to make your child's day go more smoothly, more productively. Until recent years, this was done by giving a child two or three doses of the stimulant Ritalin, which is considered a short-acting medication -- it wears off after three or four hours. Many newer medications are longer-lasting for up to six, eight, 10, or 12 hours. Stimulants are still the mainstay treatment … in recent years the FDA has approved Strattera, a nonstimulant ADHD medication. In September 2005 the FDA issued a public health advisory about reports of suicidal thinking in children and adolescents taking Strattera. http://www.webmd.com/add-adhd/features/choosing-adhd-medication-child

How Stimulants Work: We don't know exactly why it produces the effects it does. Methylphenidate (Ritalin) was first synthesized in 1944 in an (unsuccessful) attempt to create a stimulant that would not induce addiction or tolerance. Ritalin is very closely related to amphetamine: similar in chemical structure, metabolization and clinical effects.
Amphetamine Side-Effects: Constipation; diarrhea; dizziness; dry mouth; headache; loss of appetite; nausea; nervousness; restlessness; stomach pain or upset; trouble sleeping; unpleasant taste; vomiting; weakness; weight loss. Severe allergic reactions; blurred vision or other vision problems; change in sexual ability or desire; chest pain; confusion; fainting; fast or irregular heartbeat; fever, chills, or sore throat; new or worsening mental or mood problems (eg, aggression, agitation, anxiety, delusions, depression, hallucination, hostility); numbness or tingling of an arm or leg; one-sided weakness; painful or frequent urination; red, swollen, peeling, or blistered skin; seizures; severe or persistent headache; severe stomach pain; severe weight loss; shortness of breath; sudden, severe dizziness or vomiting; slurred speech; uncontrolled muscle movement; unusual weakness or tiredness.
US Military: If you are taking Ritalin that is a disqualifier from service end of story. If you "took" Ritalin, it may or may not be a show stopper depending on certain variables (age last taken, period of time taken etc). The implications are it is a nasty drug with lasting psychological side affects which could make such a person a hazard to themselves and others. http://www.defencetalk.com/forums/geo-strategic-defense/ritalin-military-service-9024/

Under the old standards, any history of ADD or ADHD was disqualifying. While waivers were sometimes possible, they were among the hardest categories of waivers to get approved. Under the new standards, ADD/ADHD is disqualifying only if the applicant has been treated with ADD/ADHD medication within the previous year and/or they display signs of ADD/ADHD. http://usmilitary.about.com/od/joiningthemilitary/a/asthma.htm
Only in America: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), also known by its older name, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) is distinctly a phenomenon of the late 20th and early 21st Centuries.  At no previous time in history have so many children been diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder and placed on medication on the basis of what could be characterized as unruly behavior.  Increasingly, children as young as three years old are being treated with stimulant medications.  ADHD is also a distinctly American phenomenon.  As of 1997, 90 percent of the Ritalin produced worldwide was consumed in the United States. The rates of diagnosis are still much lower in Europe.
People diagnosed with ADHD tend to be creative, novelty-seeking types. In the book Delivered form Distraction, Edward M. Hallowell, MD and John J. Ratley, MD describe ADHD as a “misleading name for an intriguing kind of mind.”  When people learn to manage the  disorderly aspects, they can take advantage of their many unique gifts and talents. http://www.ohlonecenter.org/research-papers/attention%C2%ADdeficit-hyperactivity-disorder-herbal-and-natural-treatments/
Neurofeedback: Drake Institute has made biofeedback or neurofeedback the centerpiece of our non drug ADHD treatment programs. Unlike drugs when used for ADHD treatment, neurofeedback used properly does not cause negative side effects. In addition, brainmap guided neurofeedback can produce long term improvements which drugs cannot. http://www.drakeinstitute.com/adhd-treatment.
Nutrition: Nutritional issues play a huge role in ADHD. After genetics, diet is the second most important factor.  Nutritional deficiencies and excesses, as well as food sensitivities can have a huge impact on ADHD symptoms.

One way in which children may become deficient in important nutrients involves repeated courses of antibiotics in early childhood. In a study of 350 hyperactive children at the University of Surrey in England, a significiantly higher percentage of children with ADHD were found to have taken several courses of antibiotics in early childhood than those without ADHD. Further investigations found that children who had taken three or more courses of antibiotics before the age of three had significantly lower levels of zinc, selenium, calcium, and chromium. http://www.ohlonecenter.org/research-papers/attention%C2%ADdeficit-hyperactivity-disorder-herbal-and-natural-treatments/

Tonics Herbs: Bidirectional and multidirectional herbs are called Tonics Herbs; they are capable of both increasing and decreasing the activity of the body’s systems, as needed, thus restoring and maintaining balance, naturally. Tonics do not over-stimulate the body. See: http://thehealthalert.blogspot.com/2012/02/elixirs-snake-oils-tonics.html

Garlic: Garlic is an excellent source of manganese. It is also a very good source of vitamin B6 and vitamin C. In addition, garlic is a good source of protein and thiamin (vitamin B1) as well as the minerals phosphorus, selenium, calcium, potassium, chromium, iron, zinc and copper. http://www.guide-to-living-naturally.com/worlds_healthiest_foods.html
Garlic alone can provide us with over two hundred unusual chemicals that have the capability of protecting the human body from a wide variety of diseases. The sulfur containing compounds found in garlic afford the human body with protection by stimulating the production of certain beneficial enzymes. Simvastatin and Tonic Herbs

What is Simvastatin? Simvastatin (Zocor) belongs to a group of drugs called HMG CoA reductase inhibitors, or "statins." It reduces levels of "bad" cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein, or LDL) and triglycerides in the blood, while increasing levels of "good" cholesterol (high-density lipoprotein, or HDL). Simvastatin is used to lower cholesterol and triglycerides (types of fat) in the blood. It is also used to lower the risk of stroke, heart attack, and other heart complications in people with diabetes, coronary heart disease, or other risk factors. Simvastatin is used in adults and children who are at least 10 years old.
About Simvastatin: Before taking simvastatin, tell your doctor if you have ever had liver or kidney disease, diabetes, or a thyroid disorder, if you are of Chinese descent, or if you drink more than 2 alcoholic beverages daily. Do not use if you are pregnant.
Simvastatin can cause a condition resulting in the breakdown of skeletal muscle tissue, leading to kidney failure. Never take simvastatin in larger amounts, or for longer than recommended by your doctor. Taking too much of simvastatin may cause serious or life-threatening side effects.
What to Avoid While Taking Simvastatin: Grapefruit and grapefruit juice may interact with simvastatin and lead to potentially dangerous effects. Do not drink more than 1 quart of grapefruit juice daily. Avoid eating foods that are high in fat or cholesterol. Simvastatin will not be as effective in lowering your cholesterol if you do not follow a cholesterol-lowering diet plan. Avoid drinking alcohol. It can raise triglyceride levels and may increase your risk of liver damage.
Side effects: Allergic reactions include hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Stop taking simvastatin call your doctor immediately if you have any of these serious side effects: unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness; fever, unusual tiredness, and dark colored urine; pain or burning when you urinate; swelling, weight gain, urinating less than usual or not at all; nausea, upper stomach pain, itching, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes). headache; joint pain, mild muscle pain; constipation, stomach pain or indigestion, mild nausea; mild skin rash; sleep problems (insomnia); or cold symptoms such as stuffy nose, sneezing, sore throat. This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur. http://www.drugs.com/simvastatin.html
Garlic Supplement: Garlic is a scientifically proven panacea for the human body. For Good Health, Naturally, The TONIC Nutritional Garlic Supplement contains the power of garlic and no unpleasant taste or odor.
This is not medicine or medical advice. Nutritional supplements may react adversely with over-the-counter and prescription drugs. Consult your doctor for diagnoses and treatment of all health concerns.

Tonic-Herbs for Bell's Palsy

What is Bell's Palsy? Bell's palsy is named for Sir Charles Bell, a 19th century Scottish surgeon who was the first to describe the condition. The disorder is the most common cause of facial paralysis.

Bell's palsy is a form of temporary facial paralysis resulting from damage or trauma to the facial nerves. The facial nerve-also called the 7th cranial nerve-travels through a narrow, bony canal (called the Fallopian canal) in the skull, beneath the ear, to the muscles on each side of the face.
Symptoms: May include twitching, weakness, or paralysis on one or rarely both sides of the face, drooping of the eyelid and corner of the mouth, drooling, dryness of the eye or mouth, impairment of taste, and excessive tearing in one eye.

Cause: Bell's palsy occurs when the nerve that controls the facial muscles is swollen, inflamed, or compressed, resulting in facial weakness or paralysis. Most scientists believe that a viral infection such as viral meningitis or the common cold sore virus—herpes simplex—causes the disorder. … Causing pressure within the Fallopian canal and leading to ischemia (the restriction of blood and oxygen to the nerve cells).

Bell’s Palsy Patients: Bell's palsy afflicts approximately 40,000 Americans each year. It affects men and women equally and can occur at any age, but it is less common before age 15 or after age 60. It disproportionately attacks people who have diabetes or upper respiratory ailments such as the flu or a cold.
Prednisone: Is an anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive steroid drug which is an analogue of hormones that are produced by adrenal glands. Prednisone is a prodrug, because it is an inactive precursor of prednisolone.  http://allsideeffects.net/prednisone-side-effects/
Immunosuppressive Steroids: for example prednisolone and methyl prednisolone, are useful and are the most commonly prescribed immunosuppressive drugs. Large doses over a long period of time can result in a long and well-known list of side-effects including: Weight gain and raised blood pressure; Diabetes; Osteoporosis; Thinning of skin and easy bruising; Risk of serious infections. http://www.edren.org/pages/edreninfo/immunosuppressive-drugs-for-renal-diseases.php

Prognosis The prognosis for individuals with Bell's palsy is generally very good. Improvement is gradual and recovery times vary. With or without treatment, most individuals begin to get better within 2 weeks after the initial onset of symptoms and most recover completely, returning to normal function within 3 to 6 months. In rare cases, the disorder may recur, either on the same or the opposite side of the face.

Current Research Within the Federal Government, the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), is responsible for supporting and conducting research on brain and nervous system disorders, including Bell's palsy.

Other NINDS-supported research is aimed at developing methods to repair damaged nerves and restore full use and strength to injured areas, and finding ways to prevent nerve damage and injuries from occurring.

Commentary-Body Systems The nervous system is essential for the mechanical operation of the brain, heart, lungs, etc. and other functions as well. One of the skeletal system’s responsibilities is to house and protect internal organs and systems. Garlic balances all of the body’s systems and fortifies all of the body’s organs.

Tonic Herbs One of the most useful remedies for inflammation, garlic is the first herb on the list when any dangerous infection is present. For any infection, anywhere in the body garlic can and should be taken internally. Garlic is a very powerful antibacterial, antiviral, and anti pathogen substance. It is the heavy artillery when it comes to destroying any type of infection. http://www.all4naturalhealth.com/anti-inflammatory-herbs.html

The immune system when working at its optimum has the ability to stave-off flu, infections, high blood pressure, diabetes, and much more. Garlic has been proven to fortify the immune system.  http://thehealthalert.blogspot.com/2011/03/garlic-better-than-penicillin.html

Apple Cider Vinegar ACV appears to have effects similar to some of the most popular medications for diabetes" (Acarbose or Metformin) continues Professor Johnston and "Further investigations to examine the efficacy of vinegar as an anti-diabetic therapy is warranted." In her words, "The acetic acid in vinegar may inhibit enzymes that digest starch so that carbohydrate molecules aren't available for absorption and are eliminated as fecal matter." http://thehealthalert.blogspot.com/2012/02/rx-metformin-vs-tonic-herbs-for.html
Lemon Being a citrus fruit fight against infection. It helps in production of white blood cells and antibodies in blood which prevents infection.

Garlic is considered to be the best herb for directly lowering blood sugar as well as for the repair of pancreas cells and stimulating the pancreas to produce insulin [naturally]  http://thehealthalert.blogspot.com/2011/03/sugar-diabetes-is-not-sweet.html

Nature’s Penicillin Modern science has shown that garlic is a powerful natural antibiotic, with a wide-ranging affect rather than targeted. If ill garlic repairs and fortifies organs and balances the body’s systems. http://www.go-symmetry.com/info/garlic.htm

Inflammation is an immune response to injury or infection causes pain, redness, heat, and swelling in affected area (Latin, inflammare = to set on fire).

Tonic Herbs: The emphasis must shift from treating disease to increasing the body’s natural defense and restorative abilities. The “business of disease” is extremely profitable. The medical community is neither ready nor willing to consider change. http://thehealthalert.blogspot.com/2012/02/elixirs-snake-oils-tonics.html
