Eliminate the Symptoms of Bilateral Sciatica with Natural Medication: Modern medicine has very little to offer than symptomatic medication [again treating symptoms, not the cause] and advice to have bed rest for as long as it takes for the inflammation of the sciatic nerve to subside. Fortunately, there are a number of natural remedies that can eliminate the majority if not all the symptoms of bilateral sciatica, most of these are simple enough to make at home.
Sciatica Cure involves the use of herbs that will promote relief from the problem. It is commonly preferred because of the accessibility of the ingredients used. Aside from that, this is also very easy to use without worrying about the adverse [lethal] side-effects.
Aside from tension, people suffering from sciatica might have muscle inflammation as well. Inflammation in the muscles brings pressure to the sciatic nerve. When this nerve is compromised, there is stimulation of sensation of pain later on. Garlic is a natural substance with the capability to ease away inflammation of muscles. This herb attaches to the pain receptors in the nerves. Once it is attached, there is no way for the prostaglandin to activate the pain in sciatica. http://www.emotionmachine.net/health-well-being/other-health/treat-sciatica-with-garlic

You could have these herbs separately ground into paste or as health supplements. … For topical applications you could use a paste of horseradish which when rubbed on the places where you feel pain brings almost instant relief. http://www.nobackpain.us/never-told-before-natural-cures-that-eliminate-all-symptoms-of-bilateral-sciatica/
Causes of Sciatica: Primarily caused by pressure on the sciatic nerve from a herniated disc, (also referred to as a bulging disc, ruptured disc, slipped disc, etc.), or a bone spur. Other causes of sciatica can include injury (such as fractures of the pelvis or trauma to the buttocks or thigh), prolonged external pressure on the nerve, and pressure on the nerve from nearby bodily structures.
Pinched Nerve: A pinched nerve occurs when too much pressure is applied to a nerve by surrounding tissues — such as bones, cartilage, muscles or tendons; pressure disrupts the nerve's function, causing pain, tingling, numbness or weakness.
With rest and other conservative treatments, most people recover from a pinched nerve within a few days or weeks. Sometimes, surgery is necessary to relieve pain from a pinched nerve.

I believe that you need a four pronged attack to deal with sciatic pain.
ReplyDeletei) Deal with the immediate pain – Pills, analgesics, creams etc.
ii) Reduce inflammation – Sometimes with medication often with topographical applications eg. hot and cold packs
iii) Restore your normal mobility and function – Often through stretches or exercises, but can in extreme cases require surgery
iv) Prevent any re-occurrence or flare up of sciatic pain – by strengthening the muscles in the problem area and making some lifestyle changes that may have led to the problem.
Thanks for your response. Indeed severe conditions may require more direct timely methods or treatment as chronic pain may cause additional concerns. Working with alternative herbal therapies could possibly deliver pain relief by addressing the cause instead of temporarily easing pain. Always consult health care providers for specific care.
